About Us

We are Michael and Lauren, and we went tiny in 2020. Born from a desire to build sustainably and live more simply, we built our tiny home primarily with recycled materials - including the iconic corrugated iron cladding which started out life as a roof in a Grey Lynn villa.

We lived in our tiny house for five years in several different locations. A new addition to our family in 2025 means we have outgrown our tiny home for now, but we are excited to continue our tiny house journey in a different way: making your tiny dreams come true! 

Michael is a qualified builder and LBP, and has been in the construction industry for 10+ years. Having worked on all types of commercial and residential new builds and renovations, he is most passionate about tiny home building as a way to build more sustainably and creatively while maintaining exceptional quality and finishing.
